At the core of our exceptionally handcrafted designs lies fabric that has outlasted its shelf life in the interior design industry. Founder Tina Frantz, former decorator, worked in design showrooms in Manhattan and Southern California, and became aware of the hundreds of beautiful upholstery hanging swatches being tossed aside once they were retired from the mill.  With an innate love of fabrics and a healthy eco-consciousness, she began to save and collect them, knowing something amazing could be done with them. Eventually discovering that they were the perfect size for a fabulous clutch, she began to create clutch after clutch, and as she dotted the streets of New York garnering praise, those rich and beautiful tapestries were reborn. Later that year she launched Tina Frantz Designs, offering one-of-a-kind, repurposed handbags with a luxury feel.  Proudly, we have since received an outpouring from the design community and the community at-large, providing a continual supply of luxury fabrics to our cause.  We turn disregarded eye-candy into active hand-candy, and reduce the landfill in doing so.  We hope you’ll join us as we aim to be the top choice in eco-conscious, luxury fashion accessories with affordable pricing.  In every way, its fashion you can feel good about.

I really really like it!! Its beautiful and elegant!! Tina is a great designer of bags. This bag, I feel, fits me perfectly!! I would have loved it had the brocade been on both sides…but I love the gray too!! Very neutral, and an easy color to make the bag Pop even more!! Thanks to Tina, I am hoping to get an envelope purse soon and a wallet!! :))

This is my ‘to do’ bag. I put my everyday purse, iPad and other items to do today. I can also add shopping items as I go through my day. It is also my ‘convention bag’. I take it empty and it holds all those brochures, etc that you acquire in the exhibit hall.
